My kids enjoyed it but didn’t get the chance to see more than half of the farm. We got the 4:00pm which is the last time available to enter. At 4:30, most of the games, stations, everything were closing. It was unfortunate. We missed on more than half of everything. You should make it at least a 2 hour experience. We only got a 30 min experience which was not enough for my kids and for the price we paid.
So overpriced! No shade, long lines, extremely crowded. Some level of animal exploitation should be expected at pumpkin patches but this place went over the top with a fishing hole and pig races. Horrible experience; would not recommend!
Our visit was great until we were headed to checkout with our pumpkins and a man was cruising through on a one wheel board and wasn’t watching for people, he cut off my 7 year old and had we not stopped her he would have crashed into her. Since that seemed like a pretty inconsiderate thing to do be doing in a crowd of families we thought we should mention it to staff. So sorry for your experience. You had no way of knowing this at the time, nor our staff when you reported this, but the owner, who is also an EMT, was responding a medical emergency at the far end of the barn area at the time he passed you and your family. He said he saw your child and was able to avoid him, though you of course you had no way of know that. There was a specific lady that made the corn maze a crappy experience for us. She was rude and and immediately started yelling at the kids. When counseled and asked not to yell at our kids, she said “you don’t need to be here just leave.” We paid to be here. The kids were just excited and not causing harm. Not sure what “Jessica’s”problem was but she felt the need to bully several kids over their hole punches for the corn maze. I'm not sure if I say I would or wouldn't recommend Maris Farms. We used to love going here but it's been years since we have gone. We were finally able to go this year with our kids. We were all so excited. Parked, walked up to the front to pay to get in then were told the tickets are online only....... never knew because we haven't been there in so long and my kids were excited to go. Would of been nice customer service to just be let in this time. But we went somewhere else
If you have little ones I highly recommend Maris Farms but for adults I found it expensive also the haunted maze / woods I paid $50 a ticket for VIP I believe regular is $38 . I personally feel a real waste of money. It was great to see you could bring your dogs, friendly has beer garden. Yea!
Update: Maris Farms has reached out and took care of us! They are fixing that policy!! I appreciate them reaching out to me and it shows that they are about customer service and that they care about there customers!! I will continue to support this business!!! Pretty disappointed!! Doesn't follow safety protocols, timed entry tickets mean absolutely nothing. No mask enforcing, basically enter at your own risk. 😔
