Dr. Andrews has been taking care of my teeth since 2000. He is a perfectionist who works tirelessly and is also a wonderful, caring person. He gives personal attention to every patient and spends as much time as needed to get the job done perfectly. His office has taken care of all my dental work, from routine cleanings, fillings, crowns, and most recently porcelein veneers. I was fortunate to find Dr. Andrews when I moved to Cary in 2000. It is a relief to have a dentist that takes the time to provide high quality work with the least amount of discomfort. The friendly professional staff ensure a relaxing visit. In addition, they have the experience and dedication to handle difficult insurance companies.
I've been a patient of Dr Andrews for over 10 years now. With 7 crowns and a bridge, let's just say that I know his work all too well. What I've learned over the years is that not all Dentists are the same. When it comes to crowns or any restorative work, one should think of their dentist as an artist. Dentisty is truly a craft, to which Dr Andrews has mastered. Very detailed. Great work. Thanks.
Dr. Andrews is looking to make $$$. I have excellent teeth and never had a cavity. Dr. Andrews recommended a long list of "important, proactive procedures" I should get. I had a suspicion they were pushing unneeded things just to make money. Worse still they said "oh yes, we take your insurance". I insisted on a bill estimate before the procedures. I have to be honest. I do not ever write reviews online. I truly felt compelled to do so after my visit with this dentist. Please think twice about going to this dentist. I have too many negative things to say so I'll leave it at that. I know of a few people who have also tried this dentist out and never went back. Between the ridiculous prices and long list of things that he says you MUST get done its crazy. I just needed a filling repaired. Service was great, staff is incredibly pleasant. But when I went to have a crown put it I was not prepared for the very high price of it! I was never told of any cost beforehand; never even saw an estimate. Sat down in the chair and they politely said that will be $1300. So I explained that I was not expecting this fee and they did not care. I told them I couldn't pay that and proceeded to check out. Then they charged me $60 for them booking me the entire afternoon. The Dentist is pushy and expenisve. I would NOT recommend! I took my mouth elsewhere after hearing how much he charged for what needed to be done. My new dentist was shocked when I told him what I was told needed to be done and what the costs would be. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for a Dentist! Very expensive and did not tell me up front how much the cost was going to be. I was shocked at the cost out of pocket. Also, I did not appreciate the fact that his office doubles as a day care center for his kids who were housed in a room opposite where I was being treated and who were tended to by Dr. Andrews when they became noisy.\r Have found another local dentist who is just as good and only charges my co pay.
