It was a wonderful visit with Dr. Murphy. He went into great depth informing me of some possible answers concerning a problem I’ve been plagued with for over twenty years. After the first couple of minutes there I knew I was in right place to hopefully finally get to the bottom of years of torment. I truly believe that I am getting the best care possible with Dr Murphy. His knowledge, understanding and experience are readily visible and reassuring. He has a great sense of humor and my visits are always informative, reassuring and entertaining. I highly recommend Dr Murphy.
Dr Murphy is absolutely wonderful. I had previously been misdiagnosed. He found my issues and keeps them on track.
Great doctor who cares about his patients. He is very thorough, conscientious, and makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend him to any of my friends. The only downfall that I noticed at the Pooler office was the smell. They need a neutral odor eliminator to get rid of the smell of a dirty feet. It was hard to sit and wait with that smell!
Dr.Murphy is my doctor and also my daughters, he's very thorough and pleasant. He is a very polite and caring doctor. You're not just another patient but make you feel you're the only person and can ask any questions or concerns you may have. Dr. Murphy know what he's doing and you feel comfortable with him.
Great MD, friendly, always has a smile. Sits and talks with you and really listens. I drive 3 hours to se him !!
I initially had a positive experience with Dr. Murphy, as he demonstrated professionalism and care. However, over time, his demeanor shifted dramatically, revealing a concerning lack of empathy and compassion. His decision to refer me to another provider resulted in severe and unnecessary suffering—an experience no patient should endure. Had a colonoscopy in October 2022. Was told by office I would not owe but was then billed for the procedure. After going back and forth with the office trying to get them to bill my insurance again and being treated very rudely I decided to pay it before they turned me to collections. I paid the office both bills, the doctor portion and the facility. The money was debited from my account right away. I received another bill after that and called the office to find out why. The good news is that Mark Murphy is a great GI doc. Gives you all the time and attention you need. Extremely knowledgeable and competent. The bad news in that it is almost impossible for see him, even as an existing patient. You call the appointments desk and they tell you he is "booked" (most recently when i called) for the next two months or whatever.
