Mark was great. My issue with the process is that I paid a huge processing fee, and was charged over $900 in fees to hold my rate. I was not asked and did not give permission for the rate hold.

I talked to several loan companies to take out some equity on our home for some needed improvements. Mark was the most direct and forthright. He gave me the confidence to choose to go with him coupled by Mutual of Omaha’s good name. The fact that the interest rates are low may have lots to do with the fact that I started conversations with Mark in July and finished on October 19th. Had I known that it would take so long, I would not have started the process of taking with contractors.

I was told numerous times that different things would happen "next week." Those estimates came and went. The appraiser that was used was incompetent and took over a month to turn in the appraisal. In the end, I felt like I could have gotten a better interest rate elsewhere, but it was too late in the season for me to start the process all over again. I would not recommend Mutual of Omaha.
