Very patient, listens to what I have to say and discusses the options that are available. Wonderful Doctor.
Dr.spent an extended time with us, asked about my headaches ,what did work in past n when it stopped working, what I was doing now and if it worked at all- suggested substitute preventive treatment and would I be willing to try it, suggested substitute response meds and their limits- I was apprehensive after reading horrid patient reviews but husband said “ we love movies others hate, maybe we’ll like him- go with an open mind”- SO right. Told me I lied just to get on to see him. Another specialist referred me to him. I would never voluntarily go to him.
I see him once a year for prescription refills. Told him I was having some other health concerns, at one of these appt. He increased one med, and replaced a new med for old. He replied, probably won't help, when asked. Had 6 mo. follow-up for 2nd concern, told him I had gotten expodentionally worse, due to injuries since last visit. Wife saw him and he was uncaring and rude and very unprofessional. Demanded a different doctor and she got one. How this man is still practicing after all the complaints and negative reviews astounds me. Not good experience with him at all.
BY far the worst care Ive ever received from a medical professional. I plainly laid out my symptoms several times & he attempted to gaslight me into believing I was wrong about what I was experiencing-that those effects were “normal” for migraines. I suffered debilitating pains for over 3 months before I could get into see some else at a different treatment facility. My family Doctor made a referral to the neurology clinic. I showed up early for my appointment, was called back to his room. He burped out loud three times and never said excuse me, he then yawned several times like he was bored. He then looked at me and said “why are you here”, i said to get some answers that DrCarfrae wouldn’t give me.
