Do not agree with seating so close to entrance. Constantly had guest coming in while we were eating as well as servers walking by us more so than any other guest. Seated diagonally from kitchen. Bad area to be seated or have seating. Outstanding food and waitress.

Business response:

Thank you for the 4-star review and the details from your visit. It is rewarding for our whole team to hear that we provided an exceptional dining experience for our guests. By chance do you recall your server's name? We would love to acknowledge their service. Cheers, The Marquee Team

Our experience was good until it took at least 20 minutes between our salad and entree's arrived. We had told the server we were going to the concert and we had to eat so fast that we did not enjoy our entree's. Then we had trouble finding the server to pay our bill. We walked to the Embassy Theater and made it in time to see John Mellencamp.

Business response:

Tami, Thank you for your review and comments. It is unfortunate that your dining experience was longer than expected, that is never our goal. You most likely witnessed that we were unusually busy due to the concert, but we are happy to hear that you made it to the concert on time. We hope to have you revisit us again soon. Cheers, The Marquee Team

The food is usually great but this time my steak, my daughter’s scallops and wife’s chicken was all over cooked.

This was our 3rd or 4th time at Marquee, but it was probably our last. My wife ordered the pork chop, which looked and tasted very good, but it was ice cold inside, so she sent it back. The original pork chop probably weighed 12 - 14 oz in my estimation, may be even 16 oz. However, the chop that replaced it was half as thick, and was maybe 8 - 10 oz. As chefs, we completely understand how long it takes to cook meats. These pork chops had to have been pre cooked and then heated to order, considering how little time it took to... read more

Business response:

AaronP, Thank you for sharing this review and specific comments on your experience. Our Tomahawk Pork Chops are received as whole loins and smoked and hand cut in-house which usually provides a consistent portion size, except when the loins themselves are smaller and require a thicker cut. To your point about service recovery, I agree and am surprised that a member of our management team did not speak to you. I encourage you to contact me personally, Matt Brown at 260.255.3717. Cheers

I believe better sound deadening decorations and acoustic softening design could have been employed in the bar area where our table of 6 was seated.

Business response:

UkraineTrain, We thank you for the 4-Star review, and your comments. We have been adding some sound dampening throughout the restaurant to combat the noise issue to provide a more acoustically comfortable environment for our guests and will continue to look for ways to improve. Hope you notice our efforts on your next visit. Cheers, The Marquee Team

Service great, location great! Honestly the food is not good at all. It is like a mishmash of several different cuisines. Poutine, steak frites, charcuterie board and shrimp and grits plus a burger. Pick a region (or country) do a REALLY good burger and call it a day. I don't even care if prices go up to make this happen. I truly want to like this restaurant - Cunningham's Indianapolis restaurants are fantastic.

Business response:

Modernartgirl, Thank you for the 4-Star review. As a fan of the Indianapolis Cunningham Restaurants, I'm sure you can appreciate our desire to introduce Fort Wayne to the various concepts and cuisines of CRG. We have built Marquee's menu with select favorites from our multiple concepts as an introduction while developing features and new menu options that are unique to the Marquee concept. Please continue to visit us and try some of our unique dishes. Cheers, The Marquee Team

We have been to the Marquee on a prior occasion and it was amazing. The food, the service... all of it. However, for Savor Fort Wayne, the menu had ridiculously small portions and no accompanying bread... an extraordinary wait and a general feeling of harried underwhelming fervor. We know the food is great - but for the prix fixe it was very small. I love it, but will not be back for a while.

Food was good but very overpriced for the quantity received. Never offered bread.

Business response:

Ann H, Thank you for your review and comments, we truly appreciate you sharing your experience. For future reference, we have grilled bread on our menu that can be ordered but it isn't complimentary. Hope to see you again. Cheers, The Marquee Team
