Dr. River has been my husband's neurologist for 17 years. We love her. She is extrememy competent, kind, compassionate, funny (sometimes a laugh goes a long way when dealing with a long term debilitating illness). She returns My Call messages promptly, answers our questions, involves us in decision-making, supports us, etc. She is our favorite MD (& we have many!). The office staff is great too. Very helpful. Yes, sometimes lines are busy, but waits are not too bad. We'd give her 10 *'s if we could.
Dr. River was very kind and compassionate with my mother. And very considerate of the family’s needs and questions. Taking the time to make sure we understood all the options and possibilities of treatment. Highly recommend her and her staff!
Dr. River spends time with me and listens to what I have to say. She is very knowledgeable and works hard to help with my situation. I really feel that finally, I have someone on my side.
Dr. River is a wonderful person and fine physician. She is observant, caring, treats me as a fellow human, and shares helpful advice.
Dr. Rivers was very empathetic and caring. Earlier in the year my general practioner had said he suspected I had early onset alzheimers based on an MRI. That was a most disturbing revelation to me. Dr. Rivers quickly performed some additional memory tests and determined I may have some cognitive impairment, but not alzheimers. She is kind, offers many hints for staying mentally healthy, and I will continue to see her and would recommend her to anyone needing her services!
Dr. River is extremely attentive and thorough and easily the best neurologist I’ve seen. I’ve found her responsive, helpful, and willing incorporate my input throughout the treatment process.
Dr. River listens to you and seems genuinely interested in your problems. She cares about the outcome of your tests and pursues answers to find the right treatment for you. We would definitely recommend her.
