Dr. May, is a great doctor. I bring all my dog and cats to him. He and his staff are great they have help me get thur some bad days when I have lost a pet. If you looking for a great Vet. This is the one. Thanks dr. May and staff for all all help with my pets that I love as family.
Dr. May is a caring professional who is assisted by an attentive staff! They are also life savers. I took my cat in early this week after she was hit by a car. She looked awful, her jaw was split, fur matted with blood, and I was convinced she was at the end of her life. Dr. May was very concerned too, but he took her in, x-rayed her, performed surgery, and bordered her while she recovered. He called me as I was bracing to tell my kids the bad news to let me know her condition and the measures he was taking to save her. He ... read more
Dr. May is wonderful. He takes the time to listen to my concerns. My cat got an injection site sarcoma, and he worked tirelessly with me and with the specialists to whom he sent us. He didn't even charge for all that extra work. i think he cares for my cat, and that she is not just a patient/client/number to him. I really appreciate it. I will continue to take all of our pets to him for treatment! I can't recommend him highly enough!

I took both my dog and my cat here the entire time I lived in Tuscaloosa (during college). Dr. May is happy to answer any questions you have, the staff is super-friendly and knowledgeable. Not only that, Dr. May saved the life of my best friend's dog - he admitted he didn't have the equipment to diagnose what was wrong with her, sent us to the veterinary hospital at MSU, and gave us his cell phone number (and answered in the middle of the night when we rushed her to the hospital in Mississippi). If Dr. May hadn't been so ... read more
This is a horrible place to board animals. We boarded our three dogs as cat for eight days. We picked them up this morning. All three dogs are filthy and stink smelling like feces and need to be bathed. All three had dirty ears that need to be cleaned. Our Great Pyrenees has hot spots on his lower belly from laying in wet conditions. The Newfoundland is covered in knots with eye infections in both eyes. When we picked up the dogs, we were told our Chesapeake Bay Retriever had a limp from laying on the concrete and an ear inf... read more
Took our two dogs here to board for three nights- we asked for them to be boarded separately because they get into it sometimes and just didn't want to have to worry about them. Picked them up and noticed one of them had a decent sized cut in his arm. Called the vet to inquire what happened and she said that she talked to the girl who bathed him the morning of pick up and she didn't notice anything. I asked if they were boarded separately - initially she said no and that they were boarded together. When I explained that they... read more
