We ordered Mazzios online tonight - a one-topping pizza and 8 wings. Got to the restaurant to pick it up and it was not ready. They kept telling us they were waiting on the wings. Waited almost 20 minutes for it to be ready, and they did offer us a free small ranch for the wait (which we had not complained about - they just realized it was slow). I remember when this place used to always be packed when I was a kid, but it’s still a good experience. My 6 year old wanted to eat here today because she specifically likes the salad bar. I got her the kids pepperoni pizza and salad bar, my 12 year old the turkey hoagie and fries, and I got the 8 piece traditional wings and fries. The 12 year old swears the fries were the best ever, I liked my wings, but I really love the fountain Root Beer. Overall I enjoyed my time with my wife here at this Mazzio's. I will say however the food could have been better, it was overly greasy and I mean drenched in grease! To top the experience our waitress was snippy about the ranch and the restaurant is in need of a more modern renovation..
I've only ever visited this restaurant on days when the lunch buffet was available. They no longer do a lunch buffet on the weekend. I ordered 2 small pizzas and waited 30 minutes with only 1 other table waiting for food just for 2 tiny pizzas smaller than a plate to come out. The order was incorrect though, so had to send my kids pizza back and wait another half hour for them to get anything to eat. Service was super friendly just wish little faster/cashier had a bit of help. Salad bar was crisp and fresh and pizzas came out nice and hot!
