Reasonably priced, pleasant, and reliable.
This is a family business and all have a vested interest in customer satisfaction which goes hand in hand for a job well done from start to finish. Shane , the project manager, was friendly and very professional. The installation crew was hard working and definitely knew what the were doing, I would highly recommend this company to all! MC Fence and Deck installed a split-rail fence in 2015. I chose them because of local ratings and wanted to support small local business. I was told the fence would last 20+ years. It is now less than four years from install and multiple posts (at present 4) have rotted at the ground!!. Given the number of failures other contractors have determined that posts were not properly treated prior to being inserted in the ground. Do not use!!
The finished product is great, but I would never use this company again, nor would I recommend them. When evaluating estimates, I was told that installation would begin about 4 weeks after I signed the contract. Installation wasn't complete until slightly more than 10 weeks after I signed the contract. The lack of communication was appalling, until it came to billing. Then they could not contact me fast or often enough.
They did a ridiculously poor job. After less than one year, the fence was FALLING DOWN!! They finally replaced it, but now I have an unstained fence that I have to pay someone to stain again.
Pleasant, inexperienced crew. Fence not built to specs. Now 30 days since MCF was called to schedule a return visit to complete the work. Still waiting and have heard nothing in response to my follow-up call. Important to note that Home Advisor only recommended this company--no others! If this is the top rated builder from Home Advisor I would recommend reading their many other reviews before contracting with them.
Started process on 4/5/2018. Sales rep was very nice, but that's all. Delayed due to weather , not their fault, but not rescheduled on a timely manner. Once promised they realized the product was not ordered. Once product in, again not rescheduled in a timely manner. Finally scheduled and installers arrived after over 2 hours they realized wrong product was ordered. Once again rescheduled.
