Under the unusual circumstances related to Covid-19, it was a smooth process overall. Everyone was helpful in communicating exactly what was needed from us. Our Mortgage Broker was actually able to "lock in" a lower rate than we anticipated which was very encouraging.

Submitting the right paperwork was complicated. Maybe there’s not an easy way to change that process, but I would suggest that when the price for closing is provided, that you would overshoot a little. At first we were told $40k, and then a week before closing that number changed to $43k, and then it fluctuated even more in the 24 hours before closing.
