We have enjoyed Commission Row and one day decided to try Mel’s for cocktails after dinner. The drinks were amazing. Then we decided to try it for dinner as well. If you like complex elevated cocktails and unique recipes, this place is for you. It’s got everything, speakeasy chill vibes, modern decor, friendly and knowledgeable service, professionalism among staff, and delicious cuisine. Had drinks and appetizers before dinner. Enjoyed both. Great service. Quiet enough to visit with friends. Perfect if your heading to a Pacers or Fever game

Food and service was absolutely wonderful. Greatly appreciated the attention to my food allergies.
This is great new spot for cocktails and snacks. Very cool ambiance with classic and modern cocktails. Staff was very helpful and the food was great. Highly recommend for the start or end to an evening.
Great drinks and great service. Food was wildly over priced for what you get. Literally $50 for a couple bites. Left and got pizza
We went for the candles and cocktails event put on by Mel's and Penn & Beech and had a phenomenal time. Cocktails were delicious, staff was friendly and attentive, and the candle idea was really fun!!
Great place to sit and chat. Smashburger was probably the best I’ve ever had! And it was a full meal! Will go back.

Greeted warmer upon arrival. Cool vibe with elevated cocktails. Food portions were large. We were able to order off of Commission Row and Mel’s menu. Our server Bradley was able to answer all questions and gave in-depth details on drink ingredients.

Mel’s is a great alternative to Commission Row for dinner. You can order from Mel’s menu of Small Bites or ask to get something from the formal restaurant’s menu. Mel’s Smash Burger is delicious. The cocktails are great as well. It is atmospheric in the alcove area, but not really private. It’s more dark than separate there and it is pretty noisy in the enclosed space. It’s ideal before or after an event at Gainbridge.
