Dr. khramoy has saved my teeth and I am so grateful for his expertise and caring. Previous dentist wanted to do crowns which were very expensive and Dr Khramoy filled teeth instead of putting me through extensive dental surgery.
I had a good list of things that I needed done from a past dentist. When I had an estimate for just one of my teeth totaling $5k out of pocket, I unfortunately hid my head from it instead of looking for a quote somewhere else. I went to Mentor Smiles for the first time yesterday. Great, great experience! Staff was awesome and very friendly and very helpful. Rebecca took exceptional care of me and took her time with everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend them. They have a great referral program too.
After an initial poor experience with the independent billing dept over a small unpaid balance (yes we owed $179). The office manager reached out personally and apologized for the choice of words used by the person calling. She was genuine , the dental work was fine , and the right thing to do was update the review to accurately reflect the situation .
I love the team at Mentor Smiles! My insurance company is not the easiest to work with, and their front desk does all the legwork figuring what's covered & what's not. Beautiful office, super nice staff, great dental team. Highly recommend!
First of all I have gone to this dentist for regular cleanings, checkups, and dental work for the past several years. I also brush multiple times daily and floss daily with dental floss and a waterpik. My last visit was six months ago and everything was fine. On my recent visit I was assigned a hygienist named "C" that I had not had before. Had me buy a $400 night guard and told me to "do some yoga or something" for the significant tooth pain that I was having. About a month later a piece of popcorn kernel starting poking out of my gums, and immediately the pain was gone. At least I don't have a teeth clenching problem - but I am still disappointed that I had to pay for what should have been noticeable. Something that they didn't bother to take a look for before selling equipment I didn't need.
I contacted Mentor Smiles for a bridge that needed re-cemented after coming lose. I have had this exact procedure done on a bridge that came lose on the other side of my mouth. It is a simple procedure. They drill out the old cement and reapply the cement and attach. This is a $80 to $120 job. Mentor Smiles said "they were not comfortable" re-cementing and demanded that I have an entire new bridge built. So a $100 job gets twisted into a multi thousand dollar repair job. I need to get an implant but my current dentist is a little pricey. While deciding where I should get the procedure done, I received a flyer advertising implants for $795. I went in and within 5 minutes I realized it was a classic bait-n-switch and I was given an estimate of over $2000. I attached a copy of the estimate along with their flyer to see the price difference.
