I would rate it a 5 on all 8 categories. After a month of living here were very satisfied with our decision. What we like the most about the community is the friendliness of staff and residents. We live in independent living and have an option 4 levels of Medical care without moving into assisted living Meridian also has a memory care Unit.

Friendly staff, friendly happy residents, tasty meals, vegan options, beautiful scenery from my balcony( (hills, trees beautiful birds, swans, giant owls, lots of amazing birds and animals (I'm really into nature. Meals are included and of course senior activities. They placed me on the 4th floor so I could have a good view of the night sky for my stargazing hobby and telescope. Joyce

Their social hour/happy hour is awesome, and they also offer a lot of live music and entertainment, which is really nice. The person who runs it genuinely cares about the residents. I’ve even spent time there myself and had a great experience. He once commented, “I need to get these guys out of their rooms.” It was just an offhand remark to me, but he was absolutely right—and it really shows how much he cares. [name removed] was very thorough in sharing about the amenities at Meridian at Anaheim Hills, Anaheim. She showed me two apartments as well as libraries, places to get snacks ie cookies and coffee in the afternoon, different venues for the wide variety of programs, etc. I enjoyed the experience and will continue to keep it on my primary list.

Quality of care is a five and I would rate it higher if I could. . A quote from my mom is, "Who couldn't like it here?" I feel like family. I can hear my mom talking, laughing, or singing every day when I'm at the front door. My mom is safe and happy.

The residents are all very friendly and approachable. The staff is very nice. I love that it is pet friendly. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Some staff need. Better qualifications and training. Food for me is a real problem. . I have celiac disease and they have no setup or interest in any kind of provisions for that nor any attempt to accommodate that . I knew what when i came in but thought they might do something. The food must of the residents complain about the quality and frequency of the entrees. Room has three sizes plus some two bedrooms . I have a two bedroom and like it . Activities. Bingo , exercise plus others

Beautiful community without much shopping. They have a lovely exterior and a two bedroom available at the time and had residential space available. Not much transportation available and the no transportation except a house bus so without a car I feel trapped.

Alternatively, you can ask the Concierge at the front desk about the transportation options that are available including the use of the Meridian Cadillac, a 4-door sedan that we utilize for small groups or for specific needs and appointments.
