Considering the reviews, I wasn't really impressed with the food or the service. The hostess was sweet and gave me a really lovely table by the window and wished me a happy birthday. I ordered my appetizer and entree and read as I was by myself. When my entree arrived, it was cold. I asked the waiter if he could just reheat it, which the kitchen staff did, but the waiter seemed to be a little dismissive after that. We were able to move outside to the patio for dinner. It was very loud indoors but the outdoor table was quiet and beautiful. A heater was lit by our table and the food and service was outstanding. My pork chop was overcooked but the sides outstanding. Our waitress gave us free dessert since I didn't enjoy the pork chop. Bar area also seems very nice.
I hosted five colleagues for an annual planning meeting, and found Mesh to be quiet enough to brainstorm and converse. We did have to go to the hostess after being seated for 20 minutes without service being offered. Once our wait staff was alerted, they were on it, and continued to serve us throughout our lengthy (5 hour) meeting. Overall, nice experience and large portions of really good food.
Always love coming to this place, never a bad experience.
My son's 23rd birthday although we didn't tell anyone about that. Shy 23 Appetizer of Crostini amazing, pork chop flavorful, Scallop special, very good, halibut was flaky and delicious. No dessert. James was a terrific waiter and took great care of us. Major coffee grounds in my coffee after dinner.
