We had a delicious brunch on Sunday at Mesh. It was our first time there since the big remodel and demise of Azalia! We will definitely return sometime soon!
The restaurant itself is very noisy. The waitress although good could not help the overall service piece. We ordered an appetizer and it came out from someone else with our appetizer. The steaks were not very hot and actually pretty tough. We waited almost 20 minutes or more for our desert. They did comp us our appetizer due to the delay which we appreciated. I've eaten here a few times now and am just never impressed. The bar area is actually quieter and I suppose ok if just doing a glass of wine and an appetizer.
Date night with hubby! I have always loved Mesh, but we tried different things and I wasn't crazy about them... shared a Cesar salad, and I love Cesar but a little too anchovie tasting for me.... also the dressing was not creamy but more of a vinegarette . And we shared a burger and fries ... delicious, and they served it on 2 plates! Always dwlightful when we don't have to split it ourselves! Will definitely be back!
From the food to the atmosphere everything was great! Our waiter was super polite and attentive. My steak was SO good that I pushed the limits of my belly to eat it! I wish I would have gotten the cheese platter as an appetizers instead of the pomme frites. I saw another table with it and was instantly envious. I only concern would be interested did ask for my steak well done, and it was quite pink. But I was OK with that. I will definitely be back soon and I will get the cheese platter this time!
Putting people into a small room, with 6-8 tables in a closed off room was weird. Not preferred at all other than the room our experience was good!
Good food, restaurant is on the noisy side- reminiscent of a Bistro.
