Dinner with husband & daughter Food was ok. Love the atmosphere. Joy was the best thing! Enjoyed her waiting on us!

Evening enjoyment This was my first time at Mesh and really enjoyed everything about it. I had the Crab Cake which was excellent, not too heavy on the breadcrumbs. My husband had the tuna, which he said was only okay. A friend had the pasta which he really liked a lot. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was mostly full. Nice gas log fireplace at one end. Fairly large wine list. As in many restaurants, the noise level could go up, but not as bad as some places. We enjoyed our time there.
The food was delicious, especially the mesh salad. Our server allowed me to sample the lobster bisque, which was very good. I had the snapper, which was over cooked. The particular piece wasn't the best. But the veggies with it were still good. Two others had fish, a little over cooked, but still great dishes. Another one of us had chicken, and it was very yummy. The service was very good. We all enjoyed our dinner and loved the atmosphere.
Fine Dining Always heard it was too noisy so we stayed away from Mesh. Our mistake it was great. Although I would have to say it was a slow night and that might have something to do with the lack of noise. But noise aside, the food ,service and ambiance made it one of the best in Louisville. That is hard for me to say as we are Bardstown Rd. restaurant snobs.
Bad table location & service Our table location was awful. Right by the kitchen and waiter checkout station. We had two guests and it was very embarrassing. Our server was nice but practically ignored us. Left dirty appetizer dishes on table. Had to flag her down to order another glass of wine.
Great food and service
Special - not so much Third time here at Mesh. This time I ordered its special - a snapper prepared Caribbean Jerk style. The fish was a little overcooked and the jerk seasoning was hardly noticeable. Everything else on the regular menu was superb, this time and the other two visits.
