Fine with the exception of the hot brown one member of the group ordered. Having a previous bad experience with the same entree I advised against his choice and I turned out to be correct. The food has a tendency to be inconsistent. It is a very convenient restaurant with excellent service. I hope it improves.

On the whole we really enjoyed the experience. There were two weak points. First, we asked the server if there were any specials and he omitted telling us about the entree special. We only heard when another waiter told another table and it was after we ordered. Secondly, the halibut was overcooked and dry.

We’ve been to Mesh on several occasions get togethers anniversaries birthdays date night and just because. The Blue Dog bakery bread/board is a must have whenever we go! The smoked salmon dip and fried green tomatoes are excellent starters as well! Mesh serves one of the best crab cakes. It’s definitely a favorite. Another fav is the Chicken and waffle. You don’t get too much of one and it’s just enough. The hamburger/fry never disappoints. My husband doesn’t have any complaints about the salmon or NY strip.

We love Mesh and are regular customers. The food and service are always great. Last night we had the smoked salmon dip and calamari, which were both excellent as usual. We decided that since we were pretty full, a cup of the lobster bisque would be our dinner. Unfortunately the bisque was not very good. We've both had it before and loved it, but last night it was as thick as gravy. Almost pudding rather than soup. We will, of course, come back to Mesh, but really hope the lobster bisque goes back to the way it used ... read more
