My experience today is a true example of why it's important to give businesses a chance to redeem themselves after a mistake. I had an uncomfortable massage experience this past summer, and talked with management. They ended up comping me a blowout and I found my new hairdresser who I really love (Gina), and does great work. I decided to go back from a massage today. Elizabeth was fabulous! I went for a massage with Lady last month and highly recommend her and Metropolis Spa. The atmosphere was so calming that I felt relaxed as soon as I entered the lower level where the spa is located. Hope to return soon!
Facial with Violet was very good. Only problem is that I thought I was seeing Nia, who I’ve been going to for years but is no longer working at the spa. I wish someone had told me that when I booked my appointment.
Will not be returning. Had to go to another a salon to get color corrected which costed me more money. I knew the process of foils better than the person who did it on me. She should have stripped the previous color before going in with foils. The foils got extremely warm. She started in the wrong order of foiling so the weight of my hair was weighing down causing the warmth with the foils. My hair was left VERY dry since then. She had time to dry my hair but she chose not to & instead left to go home early. Sigh…
