Server was great, funny, friendly, patient (letting a 5 year old order) got everything in the order perfectly correct, very attentive - He was everything you want in a waiter for sure! I am a repeat customer for a reason. The Food is very good and the service is excellent. Server is attentive and friendly every time I have dined here. The good is a nice variety and very well prepared, presented and taste wonderful. It is a little pricey which is the only reason I did not give it an excellent rating but still very much worth the visit especially on special occasion when you do not mind paying a little more than average.
My wife and I went for an anniversary dinner. She had the pinwheel scallops which were very good. I had the pork chop stuffed with brie, apples and cranberries which was also very good.
Have been eating at Metropolitan cafe for many years. Over the past coup,e of years the prices have been increasing and portions have been decreasing . Not sure I will be frequenting this restaurant any more. Food wasn't as good either.
Great experience! Went to Metropolitan Cafe for Easter brunch with family. We had never been there but chose it simply because it was conveniently located for all of us. We were all so impressed with the variety and quality of food on the brunch buffet that we will definitely go back!
Second time I've eaten here in a few months - came with my husband and another couple. We sat upstairs, which is a great place to be - out of the way. Plenty of food options from starters to salads to main courses and desserts. We shared appetizers and desserts and had our own main courses. Portions were plentiful and we all enjoyed what we ate. I will definitely be back.
We haven't eaten at the Metropolitan Cafe for a while. The spicy shrimp and scallop appetizer we use to get didn't to seem to be as good as when we previously dined there. However, the cowboy steak and chipwich dessert were outstanding. I would try and not make it so long until we eat there again.
I will definitely be returning here. This was my first time and everything was absolutely outstanding. I couldn’t be happier and I recommend this establishment to everyone.
