Phenomenal food!!
What a surprise. Pass this place often and booked a table. Bartender was also our waiter, she was so attentive and friendly. Food was well prepared and nice portions. We had salads, sushi and sandwiches. Obviously hungry, we also had a few cocktails. Everything was perfect.
Hadn’t been to Metropolitan since before the pandemic.we were pleasantly surprised to be seated in a remodeled part of the restaurant with great ambience and less noise than we remembered. The menu had some things we remembered from previous dining and many new things. The food was delicious and the service was extremely good. We will return.
A great time at dinner. They were able to accommodate us inside even though we reserved outdoors it was too cold and windy. Meals were outstanding and drinks fabulous. You can’t go wrong here. Enjoy

Have been to this restaurant many times due to the fact it offers outdoor dining. Since COVID began we do not dine inside. Nice selections on menu and good wine choices too. Although the Pinot Grigio I selected from the wine menu was no longer available at the restaurant the substitute was a nice choice. Will be back for sure for more OUTDOOR dining.
We ate here so we could listen to the Thursday night concert in Freehold borough. Our outside table was in the perfect location. Drinks were delicious, we had the tuna stack appetizer and for dinner 2 people had the pistachio crusted halibut (delicious), someone else had the short ribs (nice portion) and I had the scallop pinwheels (delicious). We shared dessert, the s’mores skillet (OMG). Perfect end to a perfect dinner!! We will definitely do it again.
