Always loved MetroCafe, I do not go very often. I recently went and was a little disappointed as the menu has been reduced- used to be several pages long. Now all on one page- less choices. Ordered filet mignon- was just OK- my wife ordered scallops over risotto- which she absolutely loved in the past. She said it was good but no where near as good as it used to be. Bar and bar food along with service was excellent. Atmosphere very appealing. I had the scallops and risotto. Lots of sand in the scallops. Risotto was blah. Not worth the cost. Apple strudel dessert was pretty good. Our server was attentive and excellent.

Metropolitan has always been consistent. The food and service have been very good to excellent. It was ashame that on this night a group sitting in the middle of the rear room were very loud and disrespectful and ruined what would have been a very pleasant dining experience.
This place never disappoints. Consistently good food and service. Love it!
The food was absolutely delicious and our waiter, Skyler was very friendly and attentive
Enjoyed the food. Drinks were fantastic. Got the starburst martini, delicious. Little noisy in the back by the kitchen. Recommend a table upstairs.
