An appointment for a routine cleaning. I did mention that I had a bump on a gum, that had been there 2 months, but did not hurt, or change. There was immediate attention given to it, and I was told it was an abscess, which they explained further as an infection. Xray picture was taken to help confirm where the infection was coming from. I was referred to the specialist who had done a root canal in that area. The cleaning was completed and I then visited the specialist's office, and have had it taken care of.
