Great Choice for my First Brother After years of HP printers, my sister suggested I try a Brother. For the money the Brother MFC-J497DW turned out to be a very good choice. It's a bit more work to set up, but works very well. A bit of a caution - I was using a 3' printer cable and had a buy a 6' one to keep my desk set-up. Otherwise, the MFC-J497DW was a wise choice and worth the effort to switch from HP to Brother.
Good for what I need This printer works for the basic things I need accomplished. I haven’t tried to fax anything yet so we will see how that goes soon. It does as advertised so 5 stars.
Awesome printer This thing is great for low volume printing. The pictures look great. It goes through ink like crazy, but replacements don’t cost that much.
Great printer Went from HP to Brother and am very pleased! No surprises...ink lasts.....
Nice Inexpensive Printer/Copier/Scanner I replaced my working Epson Workforce printer/copier/scanner due to the size and input method of paper. The brother machine has a much larger paper tray and never feeds the paper crooked as the Epson did often. I am much happier with the Brother and do recommend it!
