JUST WHAT I WANTED AND NEEDED This printer is exactly what I need and want. The print time is very fast, and the quality is excellent. This printer cost a little more than what I originally thought I would spend. However, I am so glad that I made the investment because it works so much better than the less expensive printers. It is an excellent investment. I look forward to using this one for a long time.

Printer I like this printer but I wish it had a touch screen instead of needing to push tons of buttons. It works well most of the time, but I have had to cleaner the ink heads several times recently. Never had to do that with my old brother printer.
Work Smart Series MFC-J497DW The Brother printers have been very reliable. One year warranty... however they offer lifetime phone support. Other manufacturers charge after the one year warranty runs out. Ink is easy to replace. I do wish the cost of ink were less.
