Solid printer for the price! Great printer for the price. Good color. Fast in both color and BW printing and in scanning. Produces clear, clean BW and color prints. WiFi and Apple Print work well and set up was a breeze. Sideways paper feed and output seemed different at first, but works great. Easy to operate. Much faster and easier to operate than the MFC-6490CW. Faxes, scans and makes copies quick and easy with the new display screen.
Pros and Cons Bought this printer to replace my MFC6920 which I literally wore out. Pros: Handles all sorts and sizes of paper well, feeds envelopes and heavy papers very well, is very "stingy" with ink, which is good for the budget. Cons: I find the output paper tray very awkward to remove and insert, the ADF will not do a double side copy or scan. Fast and Precise Printing I traded in an Epson all-in-one for the Brother MFC-J6535DW and am very happy with the superior quality of printing and speed over the Epson.
Great Printer This printer, although considerably larger than I expected, is a wonder! It's not as quiet as I'd like, but it's speedy and accurate. Colors are bright and true, printing (even duplex) is fast, and other features - scanning and copying - are easy. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Fast printing I do like the new Brother MFC J6535DW because it prints fast. I don't think the print quality seems as good as my HP printer did.
Color rendition is poor Satisfied with the printer with respect to efficiency, features, reliability, and overall cost. However, the color rendition is poor. For example, our logo, which includes a teal color prints properly on other inkjet printer brands in our office and also on our laser color printer. It is a faded blue color on the Brother MFC. Other colors suffer the same inaccurate interpretation.
Brother MFC-J6535DW This Brother printer price was great. Photos print clearly. I have had other printers that were cheap to buy but used a lot of ink. This Brother printer is prompt with printing. The ink price is heartfelt by me, saves me a lot of money. I use this printer for many task including, family history, church, writing fun letters to family. I have even made labels with this printer with great outcomes.
Remote printing is outstanding. I have this printer for approximately 3 months. Remote printing from my iPad pro and iPhone 6 using printer pro is a blast. My prints recipes almost daily from her iPad we have never has a failure to print anything. Haven't used the printer for photographs or faxing.
