Brother MFC-J6535 All in one Printer I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. This is a large, heavy, cumbersome machine. One needs to keep that in mind if you have a lot of stairs etc or if you need to fit it in a computer armoire. It was a relatively easy experience with the set up. The printing speed and the print quality are good. The 11x17 print capability is a great feature. The notification sounds are a bit noisy.
Great Features - Terrible Software CD Overall the Printer is great, image quality on picture printing is fair and copying quality could be a little sharper, but I am satisfied with it's performance. This printer is so easy to use! I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Everything came with this printer to make it easy to assemble and install. Now when I tell my computer to print something on this printer, it prints out quickly and easily without any problems. Clear prints Bought this as I print allot of 11x17 proof blue prints and did not want to spent thousands on a laser printer. Have switched this to my main printer now. Prints clean and clear with good paper. Good enough to read Arch D size scaled down to 11x17.
Acceptable The printer was easy to install on all my computers. It also meets my expectation for printing. I don't like that when I switch from legal to ledger paper for the MP tray that it does not automatically detect the size of the paper. I have to enter this information manually. I also have had trouble printing on 4x6 index card from the MP tray. Yet with these irritations I still like this printer.
Perfect Small Technical Office Printer This is the perfect printer for someone who needs color and the ability to print 11x17 sheets for floor plans. I have tried other manufacturer's printers that were similar, but this Brother printer is the best I have tried by far. We now use these in (2) home offices.
