I really like this printer I’ve been buying printers since the early 90’s - several brands. Never bought a Brother before and I must say, I’m really impressed. It’s easy to set up, is super fast, has an ADF - which I need - and the prints are good quality. It’s compact and fits nicely in my somewhat narrow cabinet. Also, can’t beat the price. Very good printer It is very good printer in terms speed and the page yield for the ink. Colors are not so accurate for printing and also scanning. Some colors are different when scanned from the actual print out that is taken from the same printer. But in terms value for money no printer is even close to this compared with ink cost, size of the printer and features. For students, home and some office work it is THE BEST period. Easy to set up and so far the print quality is excellent.
Printer I am really enjoying my printer. I made the right choice for my printing needs.
Well worth the price My only fault is the design of the paper tray. If the paper support flap on the front of the paper tray is in the operating position, you cannot pull out the paper tray unless you push in the support flap. I think a little redesign of the paper tray could rectify this.. My printer is on a desk and the finger pull under the paper support is not reachable.
This printer is so much more user friendly than the last printer I had purchased—it was not a Brothers printer !!!! I was most impressed with the help I received when I went in to purchase a printer. Love this printer I just purchased a Brother J995DW1 printer. Easy to set up and quality of printouts are great. Scanning easy and print easily from my smartphone via wifi. If you are looking for an inexpensive injet, this is the one. Ink Cartriges print about 150 copies a month for a year.
BEST. PRINTER. EVER! I am a teacher and mom of 5. We print A LOT! I purchased this printer in December of 2018, intrigued by the promise of 1 year of ink included in the box. Y'all....... It is now JULY 2020 and I am JUST NOW BUYING INK FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!!! WHAT??? This is truly the BEST printer I have ever owned.
Brother printer The screen is too small. Extremely limited picture editing when printing pictures. I do not have a pc for added editing capability, like cropping.
