Great laser printer! This is my third Brother laser but first MFC. Brother keeps improving their products each generation. As a network engineer i appreciate the functionality improvements. The print quality is very good and it prints fast. The scanner works very well too. I have not tried faxing yet but anticipate that it would work well too. There is an app available that works well but wish it would work with additional email systems. It natively supports Gmail but it would be nice if I could get my Comcast email to pri... read more
Great workmanship I worked in an office for 52 years and had access to any office machine I needed and was spoiled with the best. Retired and had to purchase several office machines for home and was doubtful I would get a quality printer at a reasonable price. Happy to report my Brother all-in-one printer meets all my expectations and the price was totally acceptable.
Good piece of gear This replaces another Brother. I have had nothing but good experiences with Brother and this one is great.
Good & Bad We purchased 3 of these printers and our main problem is with the print quality. After a while the print comes our faded, even though there is substantial toner left.

Loved the old Brother laser...this one's better Had a Brother laser fro 9 years. Loved it, but this one is a lot easier to use plus two-sided printing. So far very pleased.
Best for me. It was simple to set up. It worked flawlessly. I would have preferred color but simplicity, economics and need won out.
Good Features, Missing Some I feel like printers took a step backwards on features like this one. Printer turns off after a preset period of time. Does not automatically wake up when you print. If printer is connected to a computer, wi-fi feature does not work. 2-sided printing is nice.
