This is everything a good Mexican restaurant should be. Attentive service, tasty food and reasonable prices. They also go beyond the Tex-Mex beans and rice fare with a beef and shrimp dish called El Vaquero. Finally, their warm salsa is addictive!

Ground beef I think not I ordered ground before tacos, and they brought out mush. I could not even tell what the heck kind of meat it was. It looked like the left overs of whatever they found of the bottom of a pan. I was sick for two days after that will never go back. The meat smell like road kill.
Warning Visited twice and ordered 1 small strawberry margarita (great), rice, and 2 tamales both times, signed for bill (around $8 bucks) with a $2 tip...BUT WHEN I WENT ONLINE TO BALANCE MY ACCOUNT, THEY HAD PADDED MY BILL WITH $3 EACH TIME!!!! My advice, never leave the extra receipt they give you....and keep your receipts!
As others have said, it's loud and service is hit-or-miss. But, the food makes up for it. This is my favorite North Houston TexMex and I go out of my way to eat there.
I am a regular at this restaurant and love to eat here. It is loud, but it's great because my children's talking doesn't bother anyone. The service is usually very fast and everything I have tried has been very good.
Good all around. Lately the food seems to have gone downhill just a tad but the friendly service makes up for that. Usually the food is great, but lately just okay
Smoking or Non-Smoking seating. I was surprised to be asked if I would prefer to be seated in a non-smoking or smoking area. I'm a non-smoker and this was a plus on my list. This restaurant is family oriented, so you never smell any of the smokers since they are contained in the patio or bar area. The food is more Tex-Mex than authentic mexican, but it was good. Their happy hour is great too!...
