8/28 Consult Appt. So far so good! Before my appointment I had only contemplated fat transfer but looking through reviews and results of implants, and having my consult with Dr. Delgado I knew implants were really what I needed. After my first appointment I felt confident in my decision. It took a long time for me to decide to actually go through with this as I've always wanted larger breasts, but never really felt like I needed them. I also worried what other people would think. But now that I am a mom I look more at it fro... read more
Dr. Delgado did a good job on my breast aug. he didn’t pressure me to go bigger than I wanted, and his office staff were nice and helpful (at first). I told Dr. Delgado about my issues and concerns with hypertrophic scarring and he brushed it off like “that won’t happen, I’m a plastic surgeon”. He didn’t offer embrace strips, pressure dressings or me along injections post-op. When the scars started to really form he then recommended silicone sheets, but it was too late. I went through repeated painful laser treatments, injec... read more
I’ve reached that age were fillers just don’t do it anymore. After extensive research and meeting with several doctors, I decided on Dr Delgado. My surgery date is November 14 of this year!!!! I am anxious and nervous and will update you as a journey continues.
I came to Dr. Delgado for a reduction from an F-cup to a B/C, a four- to five-cup change. I told him that my goals were to minimize weight on my shoulders and neck, and to make running and outdoor activities more comfortable. In addition to a cup size, I provided photos and an estimated volume. What I got was a one-cup reduction, for a DDD-cup. In terms of cup size, this is a quarter of the reduction I asked for. For volume and weight, about half. Dr. Delgado told me he didn’t want to make me “too small”. My breasts got a li... read more
Hello all, I am 31, have two children ages 8, and 3. Always have been fit but during my first pregnancy developed preeclampsia and severe edema. Then while pregnant with my second I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. In a nutshell I have an auto immune disease where my body attached my pancreas. So my poor pancreas does not produce insulin. I have a insulin pump and my diabetes is very well controlled. After my first child I lost all the weight but had a pouch and stretch marks. After two kids I have bad diastasis recti and... read more
Dr. Delgado performed my second gynecomastia surgery in October and I could not be more pleased with the results. My first surgery was done by another surgeon a year before, and was a total disaster. He over-extracted tissue from areas of my chest where I told him not to, and didn't address my primary issue which was puffiness around my nipple area. As a result, the surgery actually exacerbated the breast-like appearance I was hoping to finally lose. The surgery also left one side of my chest noticeably smaller than the othe... read more
MY STORY *The bus fair from the airport to the hotel and vice versa, and a portion of the hotel cost were covered by the doctor, which was nice of him. (Note: For any consequent secondary surgery(ies), you pay these cost 100%). *I really liked the breakfast in the hotel, sp the waffle. *The office/surgery room is located in a nice building across a hospital. *It was nice that I was given the option to choose a song to listen to when I was in the pre-operation room which calmed me down - I chose classical. *Cost: It's high co... read more

I went in for a consult with Dr Delgado, for the necessary removal of very old, leaking silicone implants. I went to Dr Delgado since I have good insurance, and he claims to accept my insurance. I saw him at his San Rafael office. I went in with one breast very swollen, red, & painful. He was very nice, (initially), until he learned that I had insurance, that would pay for part of the surgery. Despite my long-time, increasing problems & pain, his demeanor changed right away, when the insurance issue came up, & he then became... read more
