We had the duck and the sirloin steak. The duck could have been more tender. The beet and walnut salad had too much vinegar and too much dressing in general. The sirloin was fine, but not excellent. We were offered bread when we were first seated and said yes. We were surprised it had an 8.00 charge when we got the bill. Caesar salad was good. Cheesecake was also quite good. Cocktails and wine were very nice. Our waiter Santiago was outstanding.

The food was meticulously plated, well cooked, innovative and delicious. The restaurant itself, while nice, clean, and in an historic building, felt less refined than the menu and maybe a little newer than its historic shell though maintaining an historic look. This is by far the best restaurant in the area. We are lucky to have a chef of his caliber at a local restaurant.
Lovely setting in Stony Brook. Unfortunately, our server was not very good. Food was tasty.
Nice experience. As a long time patron I still miss the old ambiance, but the bar evokes enough old memories to get over it. Food was good, but the menu was a bit strange. It jumped from bar food to complicated cuisine. With that said the oysters were outstanding but the baratta was underwhelming. The waiter and staff were excellent.
We always enjoy our meals at Three Village Inn. We have never had a bad meal. The entrees and the desserts were excellent.
