Wedding party had the bar and staff pretty busy. Christine “Red”, our server, did a great job of pacing us for a 7pm show at the Jazz Loft, including managing GF expectations for one of our guests. That said, his salad still arrived with bread and sorbet with biscotti….generally the food was good, but not up to previous performance. The Tagliatelle with cod was bland. Portions were good for LI restaurant week

Good meal. Food took a considerable time to come out. Lighting was way to bright for dinner service.
we love the atmosphere of the tavern room. However, when we came in, they tried to seat us in a pink room that has a totally different vibe. They should not do that!
Food was excellent. Server was overwhelmed as another server walked off the job that night. Wait times at the table were way too long. Main course came out one minute after apps arrived. Busboy didn’t want to take it back. Server stepped in and took it back to kitchen. But when it finally did come back out, it was ice cold. Again the server stepped in and brought it back again. Omg our server Payton (maybe misspelled) was FANTASTIC!!! Husband and I got a random date night. This was our first time here. We had a nice cozy booth, but the lighting was super dark there. Food was delicious. He had the duck and loved it. I got the pork chop Milanese. My only complaint was that I wish the peaches were chopped, would have made it easier to eat.
