I have had very good experience in the past at the tavern. This last time, however, perhaps because it was a Monday, I found the eggplant parm and salad that came with it extremely salty. The clam soup and dessert were very good. Waiter was very nice. I found the price was steep for quality..especially that at the end what we took could have been billed as fixed menu since we ended up taking app, main meal and dessert but we were charged a la carte.
Very attentive servers. We went for lunch. Only issue was omelet of the day didn’t come with potatoes...
Table for two by the fireplace was the perfect spot for a nice dinner after work. Live music. Apps and small plates plus a cheese board, perfection!
Outstanding service from beginning (with special seating requests over Open Table when we made our reservation), to middle (always full water glass, food was served hot [a good thing]), to end (special birthday gift). The stellar maitre'd really tied all the excellent parts together.
Birthday for my spouse
Very easy to obtain a reservation. The menu contained lots of options for all in our party to select. Food was delicious and plentiful. Nice selection of drinks and service was excellent. We will be back again to enjoy this lovely restaurant with entertainment Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

This was our second dinner within a month at the Tavern. Our first dinner the food was pretty good, but the noise level was so loud, we had to leave earlier than usual. This time it was a bit quieter and we had our daughter with us. She could not find anything appealing on the menu. We finally got her to try something different, and she reluctantly agreed.
