We were starting a new treatment yesterday that required a double shot to start, then a shot every 4 weeks. All went great with the instructions and practices and 1st shot given by Celeste. But when I tried to do the 2nd one, I somehow fumbled the removal of the needle end cap so the dumb smart automatic pen sprayed the Rx all over my hand. Suboptimal!!!
First of all my records had not been reviewed prior to surgery. You would know what Dr. Larson reported. Secondly you would know that I take Xeralto which might mean a lot of bleeding. You would have asked me to remove my shirt and covered me from chest down with adsorbent pads.
