RecommendedVisiting Dr. Monitto for the first time was a great experience. Easy to schedule, super friendly check-in, and Doc was clearly an expert! Within minutes you can tell how smart and knowledgeable he is. I walked in with back pain after 12 hours of driving and walked out feeling so much better. If I lived in Asheville or close by, I'd be a regular patient. Highly recommend!

I suffered for years with neck and shoulder pain. Desperate for pain relief, I took a chance on Dr. Monitto. As a former operating room orthopedic nurse, I was super impressed that he actually took x-rays AND discovered old and un-diagnosed C 2-3 and T 6 fractures. My wife and I were vacationing from NH and saw some videos on Dr. Monitto performing his Y-axis neck strap adjustment. Both of us had seen chiropractors for years back home, but never had one of those adjustments. We called and he got us right in! He is very knowledgeable in the chiropractic art. I have been a long time sufferer of migraines. I've been to several chiropractors but I always left with pain in my head. Dr. Monitto is the 1st one to properly diagnose my issue and work to help my pain. I never feel bad after leaving the office. The Y strap that he uses works AMAZINGLY to reduce the compression in my head. He's passionate about what he does and truly cares about how you feel.

I woke up on a Monday and noticed I must have slept wrong and had immense neck/shoulder pain. I thought it would go away and by Sunday I couldn’t take it anymore. I called multiple offices and Dr. Monitto answered and informed me he was open (I felt bad it was closing time but he still made time for a new patient!). Dr. Monitto is amazing! In a little over 6 weeks I've seen so many improvements to my wellbeing. I went in because I was having numbness and tingling in my arm and hands and I was taking a pain meds like Tylenol and such every day sometimes twice a day; since I started seeing Dr. Monitto I almost never need it now and the numbnessis virtually gone. I've also battled migraines for many years and I've only had slight headaches since I've been going. I also love JR! Thank you Dr. Monitto you are a God send!

I made the mistake of leaving town for a 10 day trip with my back starting spasm and wanting to "go out" and after two days in the car getting to Asheville, I knew I was in trouble if I didn't get an adjustment. Caring, gentle with my back. Explains the problem and uses x-rays to show the problem and explain what he is going to do. Takes time to listen. Has definitely helped my back and the pain going into my legs.
