I chose Montway because of their ratings. There were a lot of other carriers and some were considerably cheaper but when one reads the reviews it is nightmarish. A person needs to do the research as I had no idea how the process works nor how competitive it is. Going with the cheapest shipper doesn't make sense if you care about your car. There are over 3000 carriers by some accounts and the companies you speak with are mostly brokers who own no trucks. The truckers may be private owners or part of a trucking company.
