The wife and I decided to try the place on our way home and we're glad we did! The place was nice and clean with a rustic motif. Our server, Brooke, was as good as they come. We ordered the catfish filets. They came out quickly with fries, hushpuppies and coleslaw. The filets were cooked perfectly and were fluffy and flaky. The sides were average. If we had any complaints, it would be that the sweet tea was a little too sweet. The price was decent. We'll definitely be back.
I had a really good server. The beer was cold. I ordered the grilled shrimp and fried okra. It was outstanding. The portion was good and the shrimp fairly large. I will go back next trip to the area
Really enjoyed our experience at moss creek. Excellent food and great service. Even though they were really busy we didn't have to wait long and they got the food out in a timely manner. We will be back!
We happened to see their sign that said to try their thin and crispy catfish. Well, let me tell you , it was fabulous! We love Middendorf's catfish and we stop there every time we go to New Orleans. Moss creek thin and crispy is almost exactly the same and it is much closer to home! The service was great. The food was hot and coked properly and there was plenty of it on the plates! My family and I will certainly be back!
