Nice place
Love this hotel! Great location, vibes, and price point! The receptionist, GRACE was incredible! SO warm & accommodating. Definitely recommend The Moxy DT!
Comfortable beds, very nice hotel , super clean and the staff are very nice and professional. I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel.
A nice place to stay, easy to walk to the subway or get a cab. The rooms were nice and we had everything we needed. The check in was a little rough, I assume they were understaffed for room cleaning as we had to wait a really long time for it to be ready and had to rebook our dinner reservation due to the late check in. But the rest of the stay was great and the room that we got was really nice. It fit our needs.
Hotel lobby was small but provided easy hotel checkin as soon as you walk in. The ongoing construction made it a bit congested but I'm sure that this will not be an issue in the future. Will return for future stays.
Justin and the Moxy team were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Would recommend staying here to anyone looking for great customer service and convenient access to the metro!

I stayed at a Moxy in Oakland which had a better vibe. I think the staff there were happier, and genuinely enjoyed working in this more dressed-down version of the hospitality business. At the NYC Moxy, you could feel that the bartender felt harassed - maybe by unpleasant customers? It was also unpleasant, also, that you had no choice but to walk across the very noisy bar at night. That made the experience less relaxing than I wanted when coming home at night.
