Loved this place The room was super cute and clean. We did wish there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room but we made due. The room did provide a hair dryer and a garment steamer which was useful and a nice touch. Although the room was on the small side we slept 3 comfortably. There was lots of nice and innovative space saving tricks like the hangable table and chairs....the wall hooks truly came in handy as well as the deep window sill. The staff, specifically Alysse was INCREDIBLE! She was so warm & friendly, upgraded our check-in to 11 am and our check out to 2 pm when my friend and I were lost in Brooklyn. We also received 2 free bar drink chips and $25 in a voucher for the bar or snack store from her. She was so lovely that I would return just because of her! My friend and I enjoyed our clean room, the location, and the fun amenities that Moxy’s always offer like the bar, the DJ, and the games. Staff was friendly.
Above and beyond. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredible. We came in on a red eye and were exhausted. We arrived to the hotel at 8am, incredibly early, to drop our bags off. The staff was gladly available to assist us. We asked them if we could use a restroom to freshen up to explore the city and one young lady noticed we were tired. She asked how our stay was thinking we were leaving and we told her we just arrived. She immediately asked for my information and checked to see if there was an open room AT 8AM!!!... read more
Tragically hip, thoroughly underwhelming I’ll start w/ the positives. My room was quiet & clean, the bed comfortable, & very close to World Trade Center & assorted touristy attractions. But… as an experienced, semi-mature adult traveler, I am not the target demographic for this hotel. This hotel is for people who’ve never stayed in a hotel before, run by people who’ve never operated one.
