My hot water tank was leaking, so started the phone calls, one of them was to Mr Mikes Plumbing, The woman I talked to would not give me a price, said someone would contact me, however, no call but did visit my house, after looking at the tank, which was under warranty, the fellow says it will be $2,500 to supply and install, I said no way. Showed him a competitors quote of $1,750 which he said they will not match. I called ********* plumbing on March 9th at 6:48PM to investigate a plugged drain. While on the phone, I asked about an estimate but was transferred to a different person who told me that there will be an after-hours charge of 179.99 + labor which she could not be more specific. Once in the house, he visually inspected the situation and asked a few questions. Went to his car to make a phone call and came back with a quote of $996.42.
