I'm on vacation with my dogs and one of them tried to fly off a wall and severely damaged his front right leg! I called several vet hospitals to get an urgent appointment but all of them were too busy to see my Gus Bus! But when I called Mt. Diablo Vet and spoke to Marilyn and told her what happened she said bring him in and we will find time to see him. We can't have him in pain! Why MDVMC is the best in the area: 1. Complete respect for my financial situation. With the ups and downs of this crazy time, I have never felt guilty or pressured into choosing the most expensive option for my pet's care. BEST CLINIC EVER! I have had dogs my whole life and I always struggled to find a place that felt like family and treated my dogs like family too. I have 3 dogs, all different ages, and the work and detail they put into each visit is perfection. I could not recommend this place more. Amazing staff and incredible veterinarians. A 5 paw review!

I have 3 dogs that are very special to me. I would not take them anywhere else. They have all had various issues that the Doctors here have taken excellent care of. All staff are kind and caring and my dogs get so excited to see them!

I've been bringing my dogs here for over 20 years for many reasons. Everyone there knows you and your pet(s) and never fail to give you a smile. Even in challenging times like the present (Spring '20) staff and vets are grace under pressure personified. But most importantly for me is the expert and compassionate, top notch care provided by the entire staff. I highly recommend them; oh, and the dogs absolutely love Mt. D! I guess that's actually the most important reason I'll keep coming back:)

Our three year old puppy had a medical emergency yesterday during the lockdown. Dr. Tam and her amazing staff of technicians came out to the car in masks and gloves to take care of Boulder with kindness and expertise. We have been with this wonderful Vet center for three years. They are perfect in every way. You will feel safe and comforted with these loving experts. Tell them Boulder sent you!

I had an elderly cat in respiratory distress on a Saturday morning. Called the office and they would see us immediately. Everyone in the office was very friendly and professional. Dr. Tam was so helpful and took plenty of time even we had arrived only minutes before closing. Great office and great care!

The entire staff is wonderful! Dr. Fan listens to questions and concerns and provides thorough responses. She is empathetic, flexible, caring, and professional. We trust her expertise and she is genuinely interested in our pet's well-being. This is a great office. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

In just two short months, I think I've become Mt. Diablo Veterinary Medical Clinic's #1 customer. We've had pancreatitis. We've had eye ulcers. We've had rashes. We've even had ticks (shudder). The short of it is that everyone who works here is incredible. Incredibly responsive, incredibly helpful, incredibly empathetic, incredibly informative. All of it.
