About this business

Naper Grove Vision Care started when Floyd Mizener founded our practice 73 years ago in Downers Grove. John Sims joined shortly after that and helped grow the practice. Through word of mouth advertising and an exceptional work-ethic, the practice thrived on fitting glasses, contact lenses, and treating eye diseases. Laura Giancola entered the practice in the 1980’s. The office became one of the most successful practices in the area. Due to the rapid growth, we decided to open a second eyecare office in the growing adjacent... read more

Very good experience; from start to finish. Loved their use of latest technology combined with solid vision care experience. Can't wait to get my new glasses! Thanks NGVC!

I had great experience. Dr. Kampschroeder was very informative and took the time to go in detail about my eye health.

Everyone who I spoke to was pleasant and helpful. Everyone was so accommodating and willing to take their time with us. My son didn't need glasses so I can't review on costs except that there was a portion of the exam that was not covered by my insurance. I was told about it up front and given the option whether to do that portion of the exam and pay $25 out of pocket. I appreciated that courtesy. We will continue to use NaperGrove as our family eye doctor.
