I love not having the smell of chlorine or how hard ... I love not having the smell of chlorine or how hard bromine is on my skin. That said, you still have to use a chlorine shock treatment, but not as often and a whole lot less.
It did not cause any damage but is annoying that it happened I've given this product higher ratings in the past. I've been using them the 4 years we've had the hot tub. I don't don't if it actually makes a difference but I haven't had any trouble keeping the water balanced and I think this helps. However, the bottom of the two extensions that have to be attached of the last two sanitizers we've had came loose and went into the larger PVC pipe attached to the filter. Five Stars we use it and really helps out. far less chemical and replace only twice a year.
Meh, didn't notice a differnece, no improvement to water quality. I didn't notice a difference with this product. A relative told me it worked well for him, so I tried it. I have best look keeping the hot tub fresh with bromine granules. (not chlorine)
