He replaced my left knee a little over a year ago and I'm scheduling the second. That's as good a compliment as I can give. He did an excellent job on my left knee and his personal interactions with patients are perfect.
Dr. Jiwanlal performed 2 hip replacements during the course of two consecutive years. He is well suited for this work, as he has the necessary credentials and experience to perform joint replacements. He is very personable and cares a great deal about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Jiwanlal for his skills in orthopedic surgery.
Dr. JIWANLAL was so great to explain to you everything about the prosthesis and the procedure. He was patient, kind, and answered all of my repeated questions. I needed so much affirmation. I waited 3 years in Pain because of fear. The minute I stood for the first time after surgery, I stood straight with no pain. Recovery was quick, one year later I have never had any pains or issues. Went to my first appointment with Dr. J today and I was very impressed. He listened and presented a plan of action without throwing medication to mask pain. My father was his patient and highly recommended him. I can now see why.
He did my husband hip surgery last year, my husband was up walking laps around the nurses station the next day, minimal pain. Today to date he is still pain free. I'm scheduled for total knee replacement 2-14-2024 and I can't wait. I've had knee pain all my life started when I was a kid. Dr called it growing pain, I'd grow out of them. Dr J has done surgery on both my knees and could not be happier with the results! I am able to go out and walk my 2-3 miles everyday without any issues. His care me as his patient is above and beyond. He listens and cares about any and all concerns I might have. I would recommend him to anyone for knee surgery. Very glad he is with Olathe Med.
