The food and service here are exceptional! My only complaint about the restaurant itself is that during the winter there is a draft that goes through the restaurant so I wore my jacket during dinner. It made for a chilly dining experience! I also had an issue with the parking here. With the restaurant being located in The Alexander, we ended up doing valet parking. We’ve been to Nesso a few times and it continues to be our favorite Italian restaurant in Indianapolis. Our server, Hannah, was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested two appetizers we’ve never tried: the octopus and the Parmesan cauliflower. These were absolutely delicious! The wine selection never disappoints and one of our friends ordered a mezcal cocktail she said was one of the best cocktails she’s had. So much so she ordered a second. The entire experience was superb. Our server was very insightful with many great recommendations.
We love Nesso for many reasons, notably, its menu structure and offerings; the highly professional staff; the extensive wine and spirits menu, as well as the craft cocktails created by superior staff; and its location.
Our food was excellent! We had the burrata appetizer and the pasta for dinner. All so good! I didn't know what I wanted for a cocktail so the server/bartender made something up and it was perfect. The server was very helpful and very friendly. The only issue at all was that it was freezing in the restaurant. I also heard the person in the booth beside us say how cold they were. I wanted dessert but did not like the choices, but all the other food was so good. Highly recommend!!
Excellent food in every serving, pleasant staff, and prompt service.
It was awesome as usual. Service was perfect. We had carpaccio, octopus and fennel sausage rigatoni. So good!!!
Nesso never fails to impress. The service was excellent. We enjoyed a nice tasting menu and our server did a great wine pairing with the menu. The food was delicious.

Good food and ambiance. I just wish the portion sizes are just a little bit bigger. The panna cotta was amazing and I even liked the Tiramisu. Great location and easy parking too.
