Went for a business dinner, even though we were put in the corner it was VERY loud, too loud to really have a productive conversation. This move to an exposed high ceiling in Cunningham Restaurants is a hindrance to those who dine and want to talk to those they are eating with. Accustics is to be appreciated, not to be taken away so it looks fancy. Will not return for business dinner.
Great date night - sat in the bar section which was a lot more fun than the regular dining room. A little noisy, but was worth it. Had the linguine, risotto and veal. Everything was excellent.
Great authentic Italian food. Will return often. Friendly staff.
Another successful venture from the Cunningham Group. Everything you expect from high end contemporary cuisine. We had the scallops and procuittos appetizers (those a re 2 sep dishes), sea bass for me, veal for him. Did not disappoint in any way! Other reviews mentioned noise ... we had a pleasant evening, but I can see where it might get too loud at times. Celebrated our anniv. this night. Our server was the right combo of friendly & talkative but not too much. All my #foodporn pics are on Yelp at #ReviewsByRL.
Servers (at least ours) should be more knowledgeable about wine pairings with entrees. Ours suggested a red wine to go with my sea bass. Fortunately, I had enough basic knowledge to know that I instead needed a white and asked him for a suggestion from that list. What he chose then turned out to be a nice one, despite the vibe of uncertainty I got from him. Good (or lucky) save.
Great food. Great service. We have been there twice in two weeks. Lots of flavor.
Our first time to Nesso. Just my wife and I on a Friday night. Happened to see one of our friends and their senior managers, Roddy. we had simply a wonderful night and the most incredible meal. Multiple courses with wine pairings! Octopus and tuna for the Crudo course, followed by tortelloni and rissoto for the primi course. The entrées followed. The food is exquisite. Incredible flavors, textures, and beautiful presentation. We felt like we were transported to Italy for this culinary experience. Tremendous value for the pri... read more
Even though this restaurant recently opened, they have their act together. Server was informative without being overbearing, food was outstanding and ambiance exceptional.
Excellent menu and service. A little pricey but this is not your pasta and breadsticks Italian restaurant. Every dish was creative, well-prepared, and satisfying. Among our top choices of restaurants in Indy these days.
