Nesso - the food is amazing - but I feel it will be unappreciated. Italian food with a sophisticated twist. My only gripe.... I was very disappointed to find us seated in a Bar... when there was a very cosy dining room up front. It was my 50th Birthday and I did list that in the comments at booking..... the bar area is not what I expected for the price tag ... TV screens and game on ......... yikes..Sorry ...
The food was lacking something. The noise volume level is a barrier to my return. I understand that the current design is for high ceilings and open space, but the high ceiling increases the noise level to nearly intolerable levels. My date asked 2 questions at different times of the waiter, both times he apologized for not hearing her question and asked that the question be repeated. Went to Nessa with friends and we all really enjoyed the meal! Barry at the bar served us cocktails and was very friendly and provided great service. Our server at dinner seemed a little busy, but overall we still had good service, and the food was fantastic! We had a few apps that were delish- octopus, artichokes, and scallop, one primi for the table to share- the hazelnut gnocchi - which was so yummy we all wished we had our own to eat.
