I was have a cavity filled . For some reason I was having anxiety about the filling. Mandy made me feel so much better and Dr. Shaw checked in frequently asking if I was ok as he prepared the tooth for the filling. He completed whatever needed done very quickly while Mandy made sure I didn’t feel like I had multiple instruments in my mouth. Thank you to both of them for making my visit a quick stress free appointment!

Came in for a filling that fell out. Ended up having the tooth pulled. Was nervous about the whole thing, but was reassured that I would be fine. They joked & laughed with me which helped out me at ease. Was a good experience.
The people are great and they really care
Front desk staff was polite but very cordial. Initially, I was surprised that I didn’t have Celeste for my cleaning but Britney quickly explained the schedule change and even offered to change my appointment. I told her that was not necessary and I’lm glad I did. She was very friendly but thorough and gentle. She explained what she was doing the entire time. She was a delight! Now I have two hygienists!

I wouldn’t trust my dental work / cleanings with anyone else. Newark Smiles is filled with an amazing staff from the time you’re greeted till the time you leave. My cleaning was very thorough and the technician was very professional . The dentist was very helpful in answering all my questions. I am always very pleased with all of my visits .
To me Newark Smiles is more than a five Dentist.
Dr Shah called in antibiotic on Thursday said contact office on Friday. They worked me in in morning. Dr Hutchins was very concerned staff worked till found me an oral surgeon since holiday teas a challenge. Ended up had an infection. I hadn’t taken antibiotic as I hadn’t eaten bless their hearts brought me saltine crackers & water so I could take antibiotic. All staff very caring.
