Excellent care as always at Newton Dental!
Dr. Walsh is always wonderful with our daughter. He is efficient, humorous and kind. Note to assistants taking images for children. If a pre-teen can not fit an adult x-ray plate in her mouth it is probably best not to try it several times- especially after the teen client told the assistant that it caused pain. After three times of trying to get the plate in my daughter's mouth (and tears) the assistant decided to try a smaller size x-ray plate. Tia is always kind, pleasant, competent and professional. She is an asset to the practice.
Going to the dentist is like bringing your car in for service. You always hope it is just a check-up/oil change but it can turn into much more than that really quickly. Luckily I have better luck at NDA, the staff and the facilities are top notch and I always leave feeling like I saw the best dental office in MA.
Dr. Javer is truly the "painless dentist." Been going to him for years at various times for a few gum graphs. Trust me, it sounds much worse than it is! He and his assistant are a great team, very calming. I've literally had no pain or swelling from my most recent surgery, and post-op maintenance has been very easy. I highly recommend Dr. Javer for anyone facing oral surgery.
It is always a treat to be treated by Tia, my hygienist for many years.
While I don't exactly look forward to my regular cleaning appointments, Annette Doogan, Rober Javer, Stephen Rellas and the other staff are so pleasant, personable and professional that it's always a positive experience. I feel like I'm in good hands whenever I'm at Newton Dental!
My cleaning was done with care and consideration however when the dentist came in it felt rushed and uncaring. Maybe he was in a hurry to leave or in the middle of a more serious case?
